Clockwork Courtesan released!

It took me a few years to get comfortable with the idea of writing erotica. Not that I hadn’t written it for fun – I’ve been writing it since I was a teenager. However, I wasn’t sure it was a leap I wanted to make professionally. But I had a story in mind and decided to go for it, since it’s in keeping with the steampunk action/fantasy I usually write. The difference here is my characters have a sexual relationship that finds its way onto the pages. The relationship, though, is part of the story.

The St. Eden's School for Young Ladies series will follow a few different students in the school as they meet the patrons the headmistress chooses for them (and the headmistress always has her reasons for the choices she makes). Each story is not just about the relationship, but also about a deeper lesson – from revenge, as seen below, to strength and love, and possibly more, depending on what inspires me.

So I really hope you’ll check out Clockwork Courtesan and follow the adventures of Adette’s friends as future stories release!

Revenge. It’s what Adette Johnstone has been thinking of for years in the bleak world that is a dystopian, neo-Victorian Los Angeles. Now the one person she trusted – the woman who took her in, cared for her, and educated her – has placed Adette in the hands of a murderer. Adette must seduce Icharus DeVille, the man she blames for her mother’s death, or risk punishment for defying the headmistress.

As she treads a dangerous line between personal duty and desire, unsure of the headmistress’s grand plan, Adette will need to use all her wiles to avenge the loss of her mother, and keep from losing her own heart.

Available at Amazon, Smashwords, and All Romance. Coming soon to Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple!
